1 year of Milk and Poop

Milk and Poop started out as a few sketches in a notepad in the weeks that followed our first son being born. We’d really struggled to decorate his nursery in a way that felt like ‘us’. Stuck somewhere between cutesy farmyard prints and expensive Scandi designs, we were inspired to create our own.

Fuelled by a lot of coffee and late nights, we set about designing three bold collections with coordinated posters, bedding, toys, paint and accessories from a handpicked selection of brand partners. The idea behind Milk and Poop was really simple; mix and match the products you like or buy the complete pack to give your room an instant style fix – one box, one complete look.

But we didn’t want to just design pretty things; we wanted to redesign the whole experience making it easier for busy mums and dads. We focussed on getting rid of all the niggly bits – searching online for matching products, waiting in for multiple deliveries, the excess packaging and complicated instructions. All our posters come ready framed, our baby safe textiles are machine washable and we’ve partnered with Crown paint to colour match our designs with 20% off their complete paint range. We’ve thought of everything, so you don’t have to.

As well as the store, we have the Milk and Poop journal where we show inside some beautiful family homes, offer interiors tips and share our shortlist of the most coveted baby brands and mama merch. We're here to make things that little bit easier for modern families; standing up for all the stylish mums and dads who are fed up of trawling the internet for good design. This is just the start of our family adventure but we’re excited to see where it takes us…
